Fortnite’s New Gotham City ‘Final Reckoning’ Posters May Be Teasing The End Of The World

Yesterday, Fortnite rolled out a new Batman event which includes new skins and literally replacing Tilted Town with a version of Gotham City, complete with Wayne Tower, City Hall and a blown-up Gotham PD.

I spent some time exploring the new zone hoping to find some kind of secret batcave entrance (I haven’t), but I did come across something rather curious.

At the Gotham movie theater, there is a movie being teased called “The Final Reckoning.”

As you search around the movie theater, you will see a bunch of different posters for The Final Reckoning, each featuring a different black and white villainous looking figure. But the strange part is that these A) are not any Batman villains I’ve ever seen before, or B) nor are they any existing Fortnite skins.

I think these are the Seven. And I think The Final Reckoning is not a movie, but the actual pending end of the Fortnite world as we know it, and what is going to lead into the entirely new map for season 11 of the game that many have been predicting.

“The Seven” is a term that comes from the new Volta Visitor skin, the secret legendary skin of this season. He’s described as “one of the seven,” implying he’s a part of some kind of larger cabal.

I think that we may be seeing other members of the seven, yet to be revealed, teased on these posters. Most of them certainly look villainous to me, and there are five here in total, unless I’m missing a secret sixth somewhere, making them 6 out of the possible 7 in the Vistior’s “Seven,” including him.

We have:

A scary monster with a mouth and no eyes and a melting jawline.

A masked figure with a “Two Face” vibe with half of him decked out in a skeletal bones design, it looks like.

A gothic looking girl with a bow and running eye makeup.

A hooded skull mask figure that might be female.

A mad scientist looking robot guy in a suit and tie.

Those are the five I’ve found, plus The Visitor. I can’t find a sixth.

Again, my guess is that these are part of the Seven, and the promised Final Reckoning is going to be the event that finally nukes the entire map and gives us something new to play on in season 11. Hence this “world tour” of past locations and skins and events from the past ten seasons, as Fortnite looks to move to something brand new going forward. That’s the theory anyway, though the end of the map has been predicted several times over the last few seasons, so who knows.
