In what has been a year of headline-making storylines for Fortnite, Epic Games is looking to close out 2019 with one more satisfying surprise:
The Bao Bros are finally here. Go get them from the Item Store while they're still steaming hot.
The Bao Bros hype began as early as May 2019, around the time when the v9.10 patch was realeased. The dim sum-inspired skins were leaked alongside other cosmetics for Scimitar, Doggo, and Sandstorm — all of which were released soon after they were first leaked.
Here's a look at one of dataminer Lucas7yoshi's Bao Bros tweets from May:
It may have taken more than half a year, but Epic Games is finally delivering on its promise. For whatever reason, Fortnite fans have longed to play their favorite battle royale looking like steamed dumplings.
The Bao Bros cosmetics set will cost you 1,500 V-Bucks in the Item Store. Buying it gives you access to four varieties of the skin — each representing one of the four Bros. The pack also comes with items like the Bao Basket and the Souped Up harvesting tool.
Epic Games has yet to comment on how long the Bao Bros pack will stay on the Item Store, but with the New Year just around the corner, you might want to act fast to score these coveted cosmetics.
Fortnite is about a week away from wrapping up its Winterfest year-end event. It's a good time to catch up on your loot-collecting, especially if you're still behind on V-Bucks for a Bao Bros set.
