‘Fortnite’ Katanas Location: Where To Find Deadpool’s Katanas In HQ

Fortnite is back with another week of very easy Deadpool challenges as we work to unlock the Marvel skin at some point later this season. We keep unlocking Deadpool themed stuff, and today we get Deadpool katana back bling, which is neat. The catch? We have to find his katanas first.

We are being asked to find both of Deadpool’s katanas which are hidden somewhere in HQ. These are not usually all that hard to find given that they’re marked with a little symbol if you are in the rooms they’re located in, but I’ve found that people seem to want guides for these all the same. So here we are.

Here’s where the two katanas are hidden. Well, “hidden.”

You literally cannot miss the first one. It appears Deadpool got frustrated when playing a video game last week and then jammed the katana into the mirror. So grab that one immediately.

The second one is a little harder to find. You are heading to Maya’s changing room (err that sounds weird) where the Katana is located with a stack of other weapons on the floor to her left. It was actually not marked by a symbol, which I was surprised to see, so you might miss it if you’re not paying much attention. Grab it and you’re done, there are only two katanas total.

The second part of the challenges is not anything hidden or terribly difficult. You are told to deal damage to opponents’ structures. The challenge doesn’t tell you how much on the computer, but once you get into the game itself you will see that it’s 10,000 damage in total. Not bad given that any game is likely to give you a few thousand at least if you are in any kind of firefight at all.

After that, your challenges are done for the week and you will unlock the dual katana back bling, which is pretty cool and should be good for a variety of characters, not just Deadpool when he arrives.

There’s a theory that this back bling may operate the same way Brutus’ does where if you’re using it with Deadpool, he will reach into his backbling and take out the katanas to be used as his mining tool. There’s no proof of this yet, but given that it seems likely that dual katanas are definitely going to be his dedicated mining tool, and the fact that Brutus has proven the concept works, I can see it happening for sure.

Anyway, I’m not sure how many weeks of this we have left, but this seems like a relative breeze so far.
