Deadpool is coming to ‘Fortnite.’ Here’s when to expect him

The popular Marvel superhero Deadpool will be dropping into "Fortnite" rather soon, and he could bring major changes to the Fortnite map.

What's happening:
  • Fortnite has teased the arrival of Deadpool since the beginning of the second season for its second chapter. The character briefly appeared at the end of the season's teaser video, as I wrote for the Deseret News.
  • Fans celebrated when they saw a room within the game painted over with Deadpool, which included a lot of toilet paper, an Avengers logo and a Deadpool mask.
  • Now, it appears we're getting closer to his actual arrival.
  • When does Deadpool come to Fortnite?
  • According to Forbes, we might see Deadpool arrive on the Fortnite map as soon as April 7.
  • Forbes said: "While the dates aren't filled in, it's pretty clearly two Fridays from now, or April 3rd. That's the day when the Week 7 Deadpool challenges will go live."
  • What are the Deadpool challenges?
  • These challenges will give gamers a chance to unlock the Deadpool skin. Complete all the challenges and then you can play as Deadpool throughout Fortnite, according to Forbes. Sounds like the perfect way to spend your time during the coronavirus social distancing lockdown.
  • But wait, there's more
  • According to ComicBook.com, data miners discovered that Deadpool will take over the Yacht location on the Fortnite map.
  • ComicBook.com said: "Additionally, folks have found a new style variant for the character's expected skin, a new Deadpool-styled set of pistols, and more. There's quite a bit of Deadpool coming to the video game in the near future, it would seem."
